1. Who we are
This website, sawol.az (the “Site”), is operated by Savol Communications LLC, (formerly Hajizade Group LLC) a company registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with its office at Həsən Məcidov küçəsi 3, Baku, Azerbaijan (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Sāwol Communications is the brand under which three independent companies work: Savol Communications LLC (Azerbaijan), Sawol Communications Inc. (United States) and Sawol Communications Inc. L.L.C-FZ (United Arab Emirates). Each company is a separate legal entity with its own website, clients and obligations. The Site may refer to the work of the other Sāwol companies, but no company is responsible for the acts or omissions of another, and nothing on the Site creates a partnership, agency or joint venture between them.
2. Agreement to these Terms
By using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may revise these Terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and your continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
3. What the Site is for
The Site provides general information about our firm, our practices and our work. It is not professional, legal, financial or other advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation for any particular situation. Using the Site or contacting us through it does not make you our client. A client relationship exists only under a written engagement signed by us.
We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but we make no promise that it is complete or up to date, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.
4. Case studies and publications
Most of our work is confidential. Case studies published on the Site or on sawolglobal.com are illustrative: they do not name clients unless the client has agreed, and names, places, dates, figures and other details may be altered to protect confidentiality. They describe past work and are not a promise of any result.
Articles, commentary and other publications on the Site, including material published before the Site took its current name, reflect the views of their authors at the time of writing. Media coverage, awards and statements by others are reproduced as published and do not imply endorsement by their sources.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and everything on it, including text, images, video, graphics, design, code and the selection and arrangement of content, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. The name Sāwol, the Sāwol logo, the ā mark and the line “Communication That Moves Decisions” are marks of the Sāwol companies and may not be used without our prior written consent.
You may view the Site and print or download pages for your own information. You may quote short extracts for commentary, research or news reporting, with attribution and a link to the source page. Any other reproduction, republication, distribution, adaptation or commercial use of content from the Site requires our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- use it in any way that is unlawful or that could damage, disable or impair it;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected system;
- introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
- collect content from the Site in bulk by automated means, except for indexing by search engines and AI assistants that honour our robots.txt and llms.txt files;
- frame, mirror or republish the Site, or present its content as your own;
- use the contact details or forms on the Site to send unsolicited marketing or messages unrelated to our work.
We may restrict or block access to the Site for anyone who breaches these Terms.
7. Contacting us through the Site
Messages sent through the Site’s forms or to the email addresses shown on it are used to respond to you and, where relevant, to discuss possible work. We handle them with discretion, but no duty of confidentiality or any other obligation arises until an engagement has been agreed in writing. Please do not send sensitive or confidential material before that point. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data received through the Site.
8. Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites operated by others, including the websites of the other Sāwol companies. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean that we endorse them.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement and uninterrupted or error free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, the other Sāwol companies and our respective directors, employees and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, or from your reliance on anything published on it, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, including indirect, consequential or economic loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Your location
We operate the Site from the Republic of Azerbaijan and make no claim that the Site or its content is appropriate or available in other places. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The courts of Baku, Azerbaijan have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes, and you consent to their jurisdiction. We may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
12. General
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Site and replace any earlier terms. They are written in English; any translation is for convenience only and the English text prevails.
